I’ll be the first to confess that I neglect my exercises when December arrives in favor of the flurry of parties, shopping, and school-related events. I made it a point to maintain my fitness level this year. I chose to enroll in classes at Pure Barre in the River Oaks Shopping Center on the days when it was raining or cold because the weather in Houston can be unpredictable. Additionally, I adore how convenient it is to be able to work out and complete my holiday shopping in one location.

You must try Pure Barre if you haven’t been there already. It is the quickest and most efficient method of bodily modification. I am physically stronger, my clothing fit better, and I am more flexible now that I’ve taken a few sessions. They have an app that makes it simple and handy to sign up for classes. A great location to start making early resolutions for the new year is Pure Barre. Taylor, my teacher at Pure Barre in the River Oaks Shopping Center, was incredibly kind and knowledgeable. They genuinely love what they do and extend a warm welcome to you in the lesson. A pair of socks is all you need to pack!

I then proceeded to Luke’s Locker to purchase a new pair of running shoes. The local, family-run nature of Luke’s Locker is what I adore about it. I appreciate how much time Mike and Suraiya took to help me choose the ideal running shoe for my needs and fitness goals. When it’s sunny and in the seventies, I can be outside with my kids, exercising or going on a walk.

The ideal location to finish your holiday shopping is the River Oaks Shopping Center. It really is a one-stop shop, offering everything from dining options like Café Ginger to retail establishments like The Gap. The best part is that there is lots of parking and no insane mall crowds! My day was stress-free because I managed to complete my Christmas shopping and get in a fantastic workout!
