I want to talk about my favorite subject today: quick and healthful on-the-go snacks. Just kidding, I would much prefer eat queso and chips on the terrace while sipping margs. I keep reminding myself that abs are built in the kitchen, but guess what? This body isn’t 21 anymore.
Yesterday, I had you guys help me with some fun, easy and healthy on the go snacks. You guys are truly skilled at delivering! I also included some of my favorite low-carb snacks. I occasionally make two or three of these portable snacks into my lunch.

15 Easy and Healthy On The Go Snacks
1.Diced avocado with Trader Joe’s Everything But The Bagel Seasoning
- Hummus with veggies. My favorite is the Sabra Supremely Spicy!
- Mixed nuts such as walnuts, pecans, macadamia and brazil.
- Low Glycemic Fresh fruit ie: cherries, apples, strawberries, raspberries & blackberries in homemade heavy whipping cream
(1 1/2 cups heavy cream, 1 tsp vanilla extract. Whip with blender until stiff)
- Turkey and cheese roll up
- Chocolate Peanutbutter Fat Bomb – Get the recipe Here. Perfect for curbing a sugar craving!
- Full fat plain Greek yogurt with mixed berries
- Rice cake with natural peanut butter or nut butter
- Low Carb Sausage Puffs – Recipe Here
- Tuna creations packs plain or mixed with avocado
- GG crackers (2 raisin & honey) with cream cheese- always buy full fat versions of food and never low cal/ sugar free
- Apple slices sprinkled lightly with cinnamon dipped in Greek yogurt mixed with PB or powdered PB
- Hard boiled eggs with salt and pepper
- String Cheese
- Cherry tomatoes, mozzarella and basil with a drizzle of olive oil
