My Top 10 Favorite Finds from August

6

Good morning! With the children starting school, this week got off to a fast start. It was poignant for Pierce to go off to second grade because I used to teach in that grade. Paige left for her first day of kindergarten, which was undoubtedly heartbreaking. Fortunately, she was so happy that she started coloring and playing right away.

I discussed six strategies to stop thinking negatively last week, and in order to hold myself accountable, I’m going to start sharing three things every day on my Instagram stories for which I’m thankful. Please leave your blessings in the comments section below or on my Instagram stories!

Top 10 Best Purchases

I wanted to share my top ten purchases from the end of July and the beginning of August, even though August isn’t quite gone yet. I want to share with you a top-secret fall buying tip: if you adore cardigans, get them right now! Because they are so comfortable and can be dressed up or down, cardigans are always a big hit! Some of my favorite fall and winter cardigans are listed here.

First: Crochet Top This shirt has been quite popular. This top is ideal for wearing now and later. This blouse would look stunning with a denim jacket or cardigan when the weather finally cools down. Russet orange is a stunning color for fall and ideal for photos of pumpkin patches. In order to prevent the bra straps from protruding from the sides, I like to wear it with this racerback bra. 40% off right now! These button-fly jeans were just restocked and were also a huge favorite!

Two: Maxi Skirt with Flowers | This skirt, which I’ve owned for years, never fails to turn heads. When you walk, it has the most beautiful flow. This skirt comes in a variety of colors and would be ideal for family portraits. Yellow is the color I’m wearing. I’m wearing it with my go-to white cami right now, which costs less than $30, and I’ll pair it with a denim jacket for fall. I’m dressed in a medium.

Three: Front Sweater with Twist I can’t wait to put this sweater on! Although the front twist is the recommended way to wear it, the back twist is just as adorable! The size is accurate.

4. Maxi Dress I may have to go back and get it in a different color, but I bought this on a whim for our trip to Mexico in the palm print. It didn’t wrinkle and was ideal for traveling. The cloth was quite soft. wearing a small.

5. Olive Top One of my greatest purchases is selling quickly! Almost usually, it’s on sale. This fall, olive is a popular color, but I have a preference for certain shades. I prefer blue olives over yellow ones. Yellow olives give you the appearance of having just spent the previous hour on a bumpy plane, whereas blue olives give you a tan! This top is ideal for the weekend or for work. This pair comes as a set, and gold layered necklaces are really popular right now!

Six: Holy cuddles with Poncho! After I purchased this poncho last year, Ugg had to outdo it with an even better one! This one is a bit more stream-lined, and I’m sure it will be ideal for running to the grocery store or sitting on the sidelines of a soccer match, freezing my ass off. It looks just as adorable with skinny jeans or leggings. Since this poncho has cropped sleeves, I plan to pair it with this long-sleeved shirt.

Seven: V-neck Sweater that’s lightweight I adore how stylish and timeless this sweater is. The substance is not stiff and is lightweight. This sweater looks great with dress slacks for work or with jeans and booties for a romantic evening. The leather of these Vince Camuto perforated shoes is incredibly soft, and they are my favorite. His shoes are consistently excellent. It’s difficult for me not to buy them all.

Field Jacket I knew I had to have this as soon as I went into the store and saw it hanging there. I placed my order in the dressing room since they were out of my size. This season, camo is really popular, and it seems to be returning year after year. You can choose from a variety of amazing colors for this jacket if camo isn’t your thing! I sized down to an XS because I dislike large jackets. I would get your regular size if you intend to wear a thicker sweater.

9. Joggers Bury me in these joggers if I die. Lying in a pile of baby bunnies is how these feel! I had to put them on my body as soon as possible after receiving them in the mail. Don’t criticize me if I wear them every day. These are ideal to wear in the morning if, like me, you are a carpooling mother. Are you on the road? For a comfortable travel ensemble, pair them with a denim jacket, sporty shoes, or Birks, and a white t-shirt. Because they are simple to put on and take off while still offering arch support for walking, I adore Birkenstocks for travel. wearing the joggers in a size small.

Ten: Window Pane Button Up Top | You will adore this top if you adore the Madewell Courier Top but are put off by the cost. It goes without saying that a white button-up is timeless. You may wear this one tucked in, knotted, or tucked in one side. It also looks great layered with cardigans or jackets, as seen above. Please pardon my enormous man hand in these amazing selfies from the dressing room.
