I hope everyone had a great weekend. We were busy with sporting events, but we spent a lot of time outside as a family. I know I’ve mentioned before how sensitive my skin is and how it responds to practically anything I put on it. I am practically the Mariah Carey of skin-divas! Can we say “high maintenance and sensitive”? My skin responds better to products with fewer, more natural components.

Kopari Natural Deodorant | Tunic | Leggings
Last month, my armpits began to itch, and I got a rash. I could not find out what the problem was. Itchy pits while grocery shopping or during your child’s baseball game aren’t exactly earning me any buddy points! I’d been using the same antiperspirant since I was 13 and never changed. What was the deal? I stopped using antiperspirant for a few days, and the itch went gone, but I still had stinking sweaty pits. This is when I realized switching to a natural deodorant would be a smart idea. It took some time to find one I liked, but I can’t recommend Kopari natural deodorant highly enough. I adore many of their other products, including the coconut melt and lip gloss, so selecting their natural deodorant was a no-brainer.

Why Should You Try Switching to Natural Deodorant?
Honestly, the fewer chemicals we use in and on our bodies, the better. My rash encouraged me to modify my deodorant and other chemical-laced household goods. It’s a process, but we’re gradually transitioning to more non-toxic items. What I like about Kopari deodorant is that it is non-toxic, contains no aluminum or parabens, and is entirely plant-based, using natural ingredients like coconut water and sage oil. You may learn more about it in this video.
The first thing I noticed when I opened the container is the smell. My photographer even laughed because I couldn’t stop smelling the deodorant! It smells fresh and feels cool upon application. I also loved that it was clear and did not stain my clothes or leave a residue. You can read all the amazing reviews and why people are loving this natural deodorant here.

Repeat after me: it’s okay to sweat; it’s a normal biological function that helps us detox. Instead of clogging your pores with toxic ingredients like aluminum and parabens, Kopari lets your skin breathe. When your sweat glands are free of aluminum, they may produce excessive sweating for a day or two as your body learns to regulate itself. Sometimes #thetruthstinks, but the more you move and sweat, the shorter your armpit detox phase will be. Just remember that this is a good thing for your body and will be worth it in a few days.

Please let me know if you have used natural deodorants. I’d love to hear about your experiences.
Have a wonderful week, and I will see you back here on Wednesday!
