Monthly Meal Planning Tips

98

I needed some serious meal planning advice because school has started, schedules are getting busier, and eating out has become out of hand. I started creating monthly meal plans after taking an inspiration from Shay at Mix and Match Mama. On her website, you can see how she does it. Check out my easy side dish recipes if you’re looking for some ideas.

I’m referring about inexpensive, crowd-pleasing, and simple weeknight meals. My objective is to plan meals for the entire month, buy for groceries on Sunday morning, and prepare from Sunday through Thursday. We plan to eat out or eat leftovers on Fridays and Saturdays since, like Shay, Mama is off on those days. Tips for Time-Saving Meal Planning: I use curbside pickup for all of my grocery orders. Since I enjoy picking my own fruit, I’ll rush in, get it, then drive about and load up the car with groceries. We have been saving a lot of money by avoiding pointless purchases.

Check out what I have planned for this week!

Monthly Meal Planning Tips

MEATBALL SLIDERS

Have any of you become addicted to tiktok recipes? I have one, and they’re very excellent! Pierce and Paige enjoy helping me prepare dinner and spending time in the kitchen. With its easy assembly and little need for cutlery, this dish is ideal for child assistants. Yes, and it tastes great!

BAKED TACOS

I am prepared for you on Taco Tuesday! The ideal midweek supper is these baked chicken tacos. They are stress-free and contain all the flavor. Choose the toppings that your family enjoys the most, such as chopping up a tomato, adding some jalapenos, or heaping on the cheese!

AIR FRYER CHICKEN PARM

We may be reducing our eating out, but we aren’t compromising on flavor. The quality of this Air Fryer Chicken Parm is comparable to that of any restaurant. Serve it over spaghetti or with a simple salad, and don’t forget to serve it with a bottle of wine!

POT ROAST

One of those dishes that ticks all the boxes is pot roast; it’s easy to prepare, tastes great, smells amazing, and is even better as leftovers. Expert advice: To get the most flavor out of your chuck roast, blot it dry with paper towels, season it, and then sear it thoroughly before putting it in the crockpot.
