By the middle of July, we are all a little stressed out about the kids at home and wondering what we can do to keep them busy and occupied. I refer to it as “SOS” (Save Our Sanity) during the summer. Here is a list of over 35 entertaining family activities in Houston, whether you reside there or are planning a trip. Many of these activities are inexpensive or free!
I’ve broken down the activities by region to make things easier. I-45 separates east and west, and I-10 separates north and south. This should make it simpler to arrange an activity that will take you to one or more locations in a single day or weekend! Studio Movie Grill- Tickets are $1 during the children’s summer series. Catch the 10am show Monday-Friday at Copperfield, CityCentre and Pearland locations.
Cinemark Movies are only $1 weekday mornings. Get 10 movies for only $5 paid in advance. Show days are typically Tuesday or Wednesday.
