I must admit that I have been shopping a lot over the past several weeks. At least my new clothing says I’m ready for hot weather, swimming in the water, and sipping rosé in the afternoon. Are you unsure of what to buy in preparation for summer 2025? 1. Everlane The Seamed Dress in Stretch Linen
I think linen is a summertime must because it’s breathable and easy to maintain, but this Everlane item also has a little stretch. Additionally, the seam detailing is very stunning and contributes to the creation of a lovely form without ever becoming constrictive. The straps may be adjusted, and the bodice’s back is smocked for a better fit on a range of breast sizes. And with five lovely hues to pick from, there’s sure to be one that complements your summertime aesthetic. Although the midi length should be fairly easy to hem, reviewers do point out that it might be a little long for small frames.

2. J.Crew New Soleil Pants
These pants, which are another amazing linen classic, are available in a range of solid colors, such as sky blue, cherry red, and black, but right now, it’s the stripes that really catch my eye. With a rise that flatters almost everyone, the adjustable tie waistband is said to be quite comfortable. J. Crew has both Petite and Tall lengths, so you don’t have to worry about changes, and the pockets are deep and don’t protrude on the sides. Please take note that while these pants can be machine washed, the linen will shrink if you use hot water or put them in the dryer.

3. Teva Voya Infinity Sandals
I know I’ll use these sandals in camel hue a lot because I already possess and love them in black. They seem far more sophisticated than your typical Velcro-strap sandals, but they still feature all the comfort and functionality you would expect from Teva—they are waterproof, lightweight, and have plenty of cushioning in the footbed. Actually, the main reason I purchased the black pair was because Mary-Kate Olsen was seen sporting them years prior. They are as comfy as they are stylish, and I’m glad to say that they live up to the promise.

4. Hyacinth House Hillsborough Midi Dress
Tuckernuck has quickly become one of my favorite places to get outfits that make me feel put together without being overly prim. This long-sleeved midi is the ideal example; the hot pink trim and colorful print lend levity, while the high neckline and generous coverage make it suitable for work or a baby or bridal shower. Wooh! It even has pockets!

5. Naghedi St. Barths Medium Tote Rope
I recently bought a Naghedi Tulum tote, and it quickly became one of my favorite purses. Now, I’m also eyeing this woven St. Barths bag. Both are composed of lightweight, long-lasting neoprene that looks really stylish and is incredibly easy to clean. Who would have thought that a bag could be used for both the office and the beach? Although there are other sizes available, I personally like the medium.

6. Aligne Lupin Linen Tie Waistcoat
Tie-front tops have been a big trend for a few summers now, but this year’s style is all about streamlined, structured designs instead of the puff-sleeved versions of the previous year (inspired by the original Ganni top). Case and point: Aligne’s stunning black top. It feels like a cross between the bohemian tie shirts of late and the shirt vests we’ve seen so much of lately because of the front seaming, thick straps, and subtle flare. Although the ties are completely adjustable, you might want to choose the larger of the two if you’re in between sizes because the cloth has little to no flexibility.

7. Blowfish Malibu Lana Ballet Jogger Sneaker
I’ve been dying to own some Onitzuka Tiger sneakers, but I haven’t been able to do so yet. However, I knew I had discovered a fantastic substitute when I saw this Blowfish Malibu pair. I adore the zigzag stitching along the side, and they both have the same understated, vintage feel. In addition to being incredibly light, they are said to provide adequate padding for comfortable long-term use. You might want to think about going up a half size from your typical size because they do seem to run a little short.

8. Lilly Pulitzer Eleanora Shift Romper
Yes, this cute song with a nod to the 1960s is a real hit. Although it seems to be a minidress from every aspect, the short hemline makes it more comfortable to sit and bend, and the built-in yellow shorts underneath assist avoid thigh chafing. I strongly suggest embracing the Palm Beach feelings with a straw bag, lace-up, strappy sandals, and white sunglasses since the yellow print and thick white trim would go perfectly with Maxine Dellacorte-Simmons and her friends in Palm Royale.

9. Pilcro Classic Bermuda Denim Shorts
Although I haven’t owned denim shorts in a long time, I’m very like the Bermuda shorts and longer hemlines for summer 2025. Compared to ultra-short Daisy Dukes, they have a SoCal surfer attitude that seems much more like me. This specific pair, which has a small flare and is available in four different washes, is said to be highly comfortable and flattering for anyone with wider hips or larger thighs. Additionally, they are available in small sizes, so the crew members who are 5’2″ and under won’t feel overburdened by the amount of fabric.

10. Clare V. Sandy Tote Bag
The pragmatic in me is always hesitant to grab for a net tote, even if I’ve adored the trend of the previous several years. This is because of the possibility that tiny objects will fall through the gaps. With thicker cotton ropes that provide a little more rigidity and smaller gaps, this Clare V. tote addresses that issue while preserving its airy, casual look. Additionally, the straps are composed of leather for added security when you walk through the farmers’ market. Although the Sandy tote is also available in beige and black, for something a little more striking, I’m especially enjoying the khaki green version seen above as well as the version with yellow and white stripes.

11. Free People Lowen Midi Skirt
This Free People item might be the ideal breezy midi skirt that I’ve been looking for to add to my summer collection. Made entirely of cotton, it is said to be incredibly light without being sheer, especially in the brighter hues. Speaking of color, a staggering 12 variations are available, ranging from cherry tomato red to lilac purple to the cardamom khaki shown above. Additionally, it contains pockets to hold tiny necessities. According to reviews, this skirt tends to run large, so when placing your order, you might wish to go down a size.

12. More to Come Celsee Strapless Maxi Dress
The print of the summer is polka dots, and I’m totally into it. This black-and-white strapless dress will definitely satisfy my cravings till I find the perfect Pretty Woman polo match tribute. I adore the beautiful drop waist, and it’s so simple to dress up or down. Additionally, it is completely lined, so I won’t have to worry about any unintentional sheer moments.

I’ve been enjoying experimenting with the various ways to tie a scarf, not just around my neck, since I learned this stylish trench coat styling tip from the French. Additionally, the brown color goes nicely with almost every handbag for a timeless on-the-fly embellishment. 14. Ulla Johnson Marlis Top
Yes, this top is quite the investment, but the asymmetrical lace detail is just so incredibly stunning. I saw this beauty at a little boutique in Bend, OR, immediately fell head-over-heels in love, and have been trying to come up with an excuse to purchase it ever since. The fabric is really gorgeous IRL, and the linen is lightweight, soft and not at all see-through. I will admit, it doesn’t really have any stretch, so I advise sizing up if you’re between sizes.
